So many myths about time have been taught to us since childhood.
They say time flies when you’re having fun. Wrong. Time flies, simple. Regardless of whether you’re having fun or not. Time flies. It will pass you buy whether you’re having fun or moping around. Whether you’re doing something worthwhile or just lazing around. Whether you employ the philosophy of carpe diem or not, time will pass in its winged chariot.
They also say time heals all wounds. Wrong again. Time doesn’t really heal all wounds. What it does instead, is make us used to living with pain, and sometimes, smile through it. Time doesn’t heal wounds, you just get used to having that wound, so it doesn’t hurt as much as before. Not because it’s healed, but because that wound is a part of you now.
